Two stone was laid by his excellency the right Honorable THOMAS DAVID BARON CARMICHAEL of skirling,G.C.E.K.C.M.G., Governor of Bengal,
on the 10th day of November 1916.
This table is erected to commemorate the munificence of Babus Maninsra Chandra Roy Chowdhury and Surendra Chandra Roy Chowdhury , Zemindars of
kundi in making a free gift to the CARMICHAEL COLLEGE of their
proprietary interest in 419 Bighas of the land on which the college stands.
